Went for a drive..

I went for a drive today.

And this is what I saw. A door. Locked.

A sign. Perhaps warning that on this property security cameras were present. I'm pretty sure my camera was the only one there today.

A gas pump. Fill 'er up.

A pair of eyes. They were looking at me. I was looking at them.

I went for a drive today and remembered to take my camera. I have to do that more often. Both, 'to remember' and 'to go'.

Thank you Amanda, for reminding me 'to go'.

xoxo~

Oh I love it ~ the history lurking behind the locked door. The roads the old car had traveled, the adventures it had seen.

Your photos are so beautiful, they look like paintings! Thanks for sharing.

Sweetie, you need to get out more often. I can see a coffee table book of your delightful photographs!

These are lovely! The photos speak volumes, but so do your final words..."just go". So often my camera sits by the door waiting for me to take it on an adventure - perhaps these words are just the encouragement I need.
